Searching numbers
Is it free to search a number? +
Yes. Searching any UK phone number is completely free with no registration required.
Can I search mobile numbers? +
Yes. You can search any UK number — geographic (01/02), mobile (07), national rate (03), and special rate (08/09).
What if no one has reported the number yet? +
The number page will show no reports and a spam score of zero. You can be the first to submit a report if you've received a call from that number.
How do I search? Can I include spaces? +
Yes — type the number exactly as it appeared on your phone. Spaces, dashes, and dots are all fine. We'll normalise it automatically.
Submitting reports
Do I need an account to report a number? +
No. You can submit a report anonymously without registering. However, creating a free account lets you track your reports and receive notifications.
How is the spam score calculated? +
The spam score is based on the proportion of reports that flag the number as spam, scam, sales, silent, or debt — combined with the total number of reports. More reports = more confidence in the score.
Can I edit or delete my report? +
Currently reports cannot be edited once submitted. Contact us if you need a report removed.
What happens if someone submits a false report? +
False reports are against our Terms of Use. We monitor for patterns of abuse and remove false reports. Number owners can also claim their number and post an official response.
Business verification
My business number has been reported — what can I do? +
You can claim your number and get a Verified Legitimate Business badge. This lets you post an official response on your number's page so visitors see your side of the story.
How much does the Verified Business badge cost? +
The basic badge costs £9.99 per year and the premium badge costs £29.99 per year.
Does the badge remove reports? +
No. Reports remain visible — the badge adds your official response alongside them. We believe in transparency for both sides.
Privacy & data
Do you store my IP address? +
We store a one-way hash of your IP address for rate limiting and abuse prevention. This hash cannot be reversed to identify you.
Can I get my data deleted? +
Yes. Contact us via the contact form to request deletion of your account and associated data.
